Institute of Contemporary Art
955 Boylston Street
Boston, Massachusetts
(617) 266-5152

Boston's Institute of Contemporary art is of great interest to visitors
seeking the new in a historical city. The museum is actually a 19th-century police station and firehouse, and is home to 20th-century art in a diversity of forms. Paintings, sculptures, drawings, photography and video are among the captivating exhibits. But the museum goes a step beyond visual arts by hosting performing arts, including forums for poetry, readings, lectures, films and musical recitals.

This cutting-edge museum has a changing schedule of multimedia art, installations, film and video series, and other events. Call for a current schedule.
