Boston is known as the cradle of American history, but it also boasts world renown museums of art and science. Art lovers in Boston should flock to the Museum of Fine Arts, known as the "MFA". The MFA is over 125 years old and has an international collection of masterpieces, including one of the largest collections of Asian art in the world.

The I. S. Gardner Museum, which was built in the style of  a 15-th century Venetian palace is located only a few blocks away from the MFA, making it easy to see some of the finest art in Boston in one afternoon.

Science enthusiasts will love visiting the Museum of Science, it's one of the most innovative and interesting museums on the East coast. There are over 600 interactive exhibits as well as the Hayden Planetarium and the Mugar Omni Theater.
